They were never really considered by anyone as the "adoption type" and believed that whenever someone would come in to adopt. Thomas and Dove have taken a small break from their careers to focus on each other and their relationship. When they decide to adopt a girl, they end up adopting two. Trying to protect the girls, they send them to a private school and keep their lives hidden as they try to figure everything out.
