In a world of monsters, how can you be sure you're human? Our protagonist finds themself repulsed by the circumstances of the world they are in, where Monsters run society, and their cattle further add to the suppression. Our protagonist has to cope with these circumstances while trying to establish their way in the world. However, strange things begin to occur after they move into their new home. From strange flashes of monstrous images to odd noises, what could be going on? They must tread carefully, lest they too become prey to a monster, or perhaps there isn't a monster at all? Either way, exercise caution when gazing into the abyss.

"Naomi I love you," he exclaimed looking at me straight in the eyes. This took me by surprise because we have been friends for so many years and I didn't think he would have these feelings towards me. I mean I'm not going to lie I have the same feelings for him but I don't want our friendship to get ruined. I saw a man dressed all in black watching us from afar, but Logan didn't see him because he was facing me. Logan put his hands firmly on my shoulders and looked at me straight in the eyes. "Naomi, did you hear me? I love you. I've been in love with you since the day I met you," he told me. "Yes I heard you Logan. It's just that," I began to say but I got cut off when I saw the man pull out a gun. "Logan look out," I told him turning him to where I was standing and taking the bullet. "Naomi," he exclaimed worried. "Logan I just want to say that I love you too," I said feeling my eyes starting to close and putting my hand on his cheek. "NOO WHY?! I SHOULD'VE BEEN THE ONE TO GET SHOT NOT YOU," he exclaimed. He knelt down and had me in his arms and called an ambulance immediately. What seemed to be just malicious crimes targeted at police quickly turns into something far more malevolent and far-reaching. What insidious fate is awaiting her colleagues, her family, and herself? All she knows is that she has to uncover the truth of what's going on in her city before it's too late.
