Veronica is in high school and trapped in a toxic relationship. When she finds out she's pregnant her boyfriend doesn't want anything to do with the baby, his baby. Apparently he isn't ready for that kind of responsibility so she leaves him. She's raising her daughter by herself. She's okay with that. They are happy. They may not have a lot of money but they have each other and that's all they need. One day though a certain red head walks into Veronica's life and makes her reconsider her opinion about love.

"You're a little more dangerous than you look...all boy next doorish" Archie Andrews is released from the Leopold and Loeb Detention Center. His sentence was dismissed when it was revealed that the red headed jock hadn't committed the murder. While he may have entered the juvie with his classic 'boy next door' attitude, he returns as a different person. Veronica Lodge, who had learnt to just move on from her imprisoned ex boyfriend, is surprised to hear Kevin Keller tell her "He's getting out". But things have changed, and people have changed, and it's hard to tell if anything will be the same again...
