Catra is what many people would call broken. Emotionally. She has one of the most darkest back stories you might have ever heard, which is why she is shaped the way she is today. 17 years old and a senior, Catra goes to Brightmoon High School, and is the most dangerous and feared person within the building, and she sure is hell is not afraid to show why she has that title for herself. Adora is a newly transferred to Brightmoon High and quickly bonds with Glimmer and Bow. She's also 17, a senior, and a dorky jock. Still not used to how the school functions, she becomes intrigued by none other than Catra herself and tries to become her friend despite everyone's warnings. But the blonde teen can't help but want to get closer... but one thing catches her attention the most about what everyone mainly warns her about. Adora ended up breaking up with her girlfriend, Catra, a couple months back because Adora wanted to focus on more on her future, school and sports. But now Adora thinks that prehaps it wasn't the best idea to let go of her girlfriend that quickly cause she soon realizes she's definitely not over her. Unfortunately it seems that Catra has fully moved on from Adora...or at least so it seems.

After failing to defeat the Rebellion again, Hordak is fed up with Catra and nearly kills her. This finally pushes Catra over the edge to leave the Fright Zone for good, but now on the verge of death and nowhere to go, she's hit rock bottom. But what happens when Adora finds her and keeps her in Brightmoon? What would that mean for the ex-best friends relationship? Can they rekindle what was broken and possibly become something more? When Catra is banished from the Horde, she wants nothing to do with anyone or anything. But then she gets trapped in a magic building with her ex best friend Adora, who just so happens to also be the legendary princess She-Ra, and she realizes that nothing can keep the two apart. They learn about love from the world of princesses and grow closer than ever.
