Raisa has lived her entire life in the summer court with her family. Although she is high Fae her parents never allowed her to leave after what happened to her older sister in the winter court. When Alan is to be crowned king of the night court, her presence is personally requested by King Alefric. Riasa will have to leave her court for the first time without giving away her secrets. Although the festivities are to last only seven days before she returns home, one of her secrets slips and she is taken as a prisoner and given the option to remain at the Winter court as a glorified prisoner or be killed.
