The ones from above blessed you with a normal life. A life maybe not many would be jealous of, but a life that you yourself were comfortable and satisfied with. Being raised purely by your mother, your father died long before your birth, but that did not sadden you. For you had the chance to be raised together with another child, the child of your mother's best friend. As you and the boy grew up, you were inseperable in the women's eyes. Though being raised together meant that the both of you got mistreated by the other children in the village. But that didn't bother you at least, for you had each other. And that's all that mattered for you. The boy seemed to share the same opinion, yet he still seeked acceptance from the other children in the village, one that you tried to helped him achieve. Mark the word, "tried". Years went by, you lost hope in everything as you realized you may never see your dearest childhood friend again, one that you managed to develope a liking for. He disappeared the night your hearts became one, or so you thought at least. From then on, you've been all on your own, choosing to escape to Midgar and starting your life anew there after your hometown Nibelheim burned down to shreds. Barely being able to survive in either the slums or upper plate, the constant nightmares haunting you every night, keeping you from falling asleep, the constant worry over having to think of where to spend the night... you've managed to execute most of your worries, but some will simply not let you be in peace.
