When humanity began developing special powers known as Quirks, society as a whole changed forever. The age of Heroes began with many youths aspiring to become licensed Pro Heroes. Some pursued this line of work for fame, money, or status, however there were those who pursued out of a burning desire to help others. However there were those who were born without a Quirk, these people tended to live rather mundane and uneventful lives. In the history of Pro Heroes there has never been a Quirkless Hero, until one fateful day. A young delinquent toting around a baseball bat is given an opportunity to join the Hero Course with the help of his aunt. Joining the ranks of Class 1-A he will be tested at every corner. Despite the monumental odds stacked against him however, the young man faces it with an excited smile on his face. No matter what walls are put in front of this Slugger, he will smash through them to prove he can be a Hero just like anyone else.
