A celebration for Hua Cheng's birthday, Ghost City style!

College Student Hua Cheng needs some serious professional help to calm his self harm and cold murder urges. His roommates recommended therapy and he reluctantly stumbled upon the deeply caring and compassionate newbie psychiatrist of the 'Heaven's Hearth' Hospital, Dr Xie Lian. After a few sessions, he feels a feeling he had never felt before ever in his life - a sense of self worth.

One shot, set after Book 5, almost Mid-Autumn festival in TGCF land. Xie Lian's friends come to visit him at Puqi Shrine, Hua Cheng and Xie Lian have a playful duel for entertainment, ending in a wonderful competition (very brief, all PG, of course) and later *cough* exchange of spiritual energy away from prying eyes... how does this all come to be? Something like this... PS: I read that MXTX said Mount Taicang was special for HuaLian *cough* so if Hua Cheng had to take Xie Lian away for fun, that's where it would be ☺ ************************************************************************* No copyright infringement intended, all characters belong to the creator of the series.

Cheeky fun and light flirting. Was just reading TGCF, the part where Xie Lian is so distracted by Hua Cheng's whirlwind fashion parade while they are running around looking for the Wind Master. So was just thinking, wouldn't he want to dress him up, wouldn't it be fun 😄 and would Hua Cheng let that opportunity slip...of course not, mischief would follow for sure 😄 all PG, hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did writing it 😄

This is Xie Lian's eureka moment, that night at Qiandeng Temple that he realizes what it is that he actually feels for Hua Cheng, despite all their excuses of exchanging air and borrowing spiritual powers and what not... He has a million questions, something foggy and elusive at the edge of his 800+ years of memory, and one thing he's now sure of - his feelings for the one he held in his arms all night.

Shi Qingxuan and his beggar buddies come for dinner at Puqi Shrine. Hua Cheng and Ban Yue have a little heart to heart.

Mu qing starts avoiding him. Feng xin wants to feed his ego and think that it's because Mu qing is too much of a pussy to face and fight him. But no. That'll be the last thing Mu qing will ever be. Mu qing does not cower. Not even when threatened by the former emperor himself. So he knows that that's not the case. Even if Mu qing himself tells him that (which ofcourse he wouldn't) he won't believe it. So, even if Feng xin doesn't want to, he can't help but think. Why the fuck is Mu qing avoiding him? And when the truth came out, fluff ensues.

After a night out with his classmates, Feng xin finds himself in a pinch. Not retaining any memories from that night, the only thing he knew was that Mu qing brought him home.
