❝I'm afraid I'm about as cool as a rubber duck...❞ ❝ So ridiculously cool then?❞ ▬▬▬▬ Quinton Granger was very much like his younger sister, Hermione Jean Granger, well known for his studious nature among peers. However, there was a significant difference between the two, unlike Hermione, Quinton didn't possess magic. He was a muggle. Arthur Weasley has always been fascinated by muggles and their lifestyle, so when he meets Quinton one year as the older brother drops Hermione off at King's Cross, the two strike up a conversation about the function of a rubber duck. The two became fast friends and Quinton becomes a regular at the Burrow whenever his sister is invited over. Ginny is trying to come to terms with her feelings over the Boy-Who-Lived, who doesn't pay her any sort of mind outside of being Ron's little sister. Hermione gives her the advice not to pine over Harry, that she should look at other boys, although when Hermione suggested it, she wasn't exactly suggesting her older brother. It started off as letters between the two while Ginny is at school and becomes something each time the two see each other again. Adrianna Elwyn. Hufflepuff. Empath. Origami master. For years people wondered where they came from, whether it be a tiny paper rhino poking their ankle during potions, an adorable folded dragon flying around the greenhouse during Herbology or even a swarm of paper planes interrupting quidditch practice. Most assumed the origami army was just another one of Hogwarts quirks, but some knew different. Friends of Adrianna Elwyn knew how she enjoyed the art of paper folding, with many of her creations wondering around the Hufflepuff Common Room. Over the years Adrianna struggles to control her abilities as an Empath, being able to perceive other's emotions makes her an incredibly understanding person but it can also be intensely overwhelming. On the other hand, Oliver Wood never seem to realise how unenthusiastic the rest of his quidditch team was during one of his pep talks. He had a single-minded determination to win, and to do that he knew he needed to practice. The problem being the increased number of paper hummingbirds and butterflies and other distracting flying creatures that seemed to have taken to fluttering around the quidditch pitch during their practice. He also certainly didn't appreciate the little band of Hufflepuffs that showed up to watch them.

❝What do you mean, you came for the food? ... why would we have snacks here?!❞ ❝You were called the Death-EATERS, excuse me for jumping to conclusions!❞ ▬▬▬▬ There was a fine line between brave and stupid and Georgie Humphreys took pride in crossing it on a daily basis; from wandering into the Slytherin Common Room to find the perfect shade of green to falling asleep mid-telling off. Still, some would argue that attending a secret Deatheater meeting in the hopes there would be good food, did take it too far even though to Georgie it was only logical. After all, if they hadn't wanted hungry buggers walking in, perhaps they shouldn't have put " - Eater" in their name. [CREDIT TO JANICE SUNG FOR THE COVER ART]

No one can doubt that there's some chemistry between Dean Thomas and Seamus Finnigan, but can that chemistry (or love as some like to call it) survive almost a whole year of them being apart with no contact? Does absence make the heart grow fonder when there's a chance that neither one will see the other ever again?

Catina Lennox didn't stick to stereotypes. In fact, she despised them more than anything, yes she had Slytherin traits but not those since tarnished by those who turned to evil rather than staying hard-headed and fighting for what they truly believe in. She was determined to show that behind the bared teeth and vicious nature lied little kittens who are soft and cute despite the facade they hold over themselves. With no family to care for her, she finds herself mingling with those who make up the Order of The Phoenix which ultimately led her to him. Fred Weasley. The boy she had seen around the school and admired for his pranks but never actually spoke to him until the summer of 1995 when they soon crossed paths. Along the way there were ups and there were downs but all that mattered was them and what they meant to each other. But what will happen when more to Catina's history and future is unravelled? "I thought you were stuck on the whole soulmate idea?" He asked him. At first, George was confused, not understanding what he meant or why he couldn't just say it out loud, then his brain processed what he was being told, and he pulled his hand away from his neck. "I don't know," He said, thinking suddenly about the necklace around his neck that he had for as long as he could remember. His soulmate was born in September, meaning it appeared on him then, merely five months after he and Fred were born. Molly and Arthur were surprised, to say the least, only having just gotten used to the idea of their eldest son, Bill, having a soulmate as well, though he was seven years old when his soulmate was born, meaning that it was harder for him to adjust to the nonremovable fleur de lis pendant where for George wearing his was the only thing he knew. "Maybe it's her," Fred said out loud casually. "The chances of that are astronomically unlikely," George said, rolling his eyes. "Plus it says C.M.L.B. and she's Lupin." "But think about it. Is she?" Fred said suddenly, leaning over the table towards him seriously. "It would make everything make sense."
