🌺Lola - the artistic, confident, happy hippie 👑Katie - the b*tch, selfish, shallow popular 🥇Jordan - your average charismatic, outgoing popular jock 🎸Dylan - just that emo dude at the back of the classroom with his small group of emo friends and loud rock music _____________ In a town of stereotypes and normality, when Lola Grimsby arrives, heads are turned in outrage, disgust and admiration. After being home schooled for all her life, the shock of school life hit her like a big, yellow bus. The obvious thing to do would to get some allies to help her adjust but with everyone avoiding or mocking her... Let's just say its easier said than done. That is, until Mr Popular breaks the school code to talk to her. Is he genuine or is it all some cruel joke? _____________ "Shoes?" The sound of his voice brought be back from falling asleep again. "Hmm? " "Where are your shoes?" My shoes? I looked down at my bare feet for a moment and thought. Oh my shoes! "I threw them away." I shrugged. He chuckled quietly, "Why?" "They were hurting my poor feet and I could barely walk in them. I didn't really like them anyway." "Fair enough." Silence. "What are you listening too?" "You talk a lot don't you?" "There's no point going though life never being heard." He chuckled at me again. Maybe he's drunk? "I'm listening to music." "Duh. What kind of music, dumbo?" "Rock." What a surprise. "Can I listen?" Silently, he handed over an earbud for me.
