In a world where all magic is outlawed, finding a magic user is a hard thing to do. Being one is so much harder, with authorities who would hunt you down untill they kill you and no-one you can trust, how could a magic user hope to survive? Hermitcraft is a hidden safe-space, where magic users can hide from the authorities, the outside world, in a family of other magic users, but it's impossible to find without being brought there, so many magic users could never hope for salvation, since they don't know it exists. Something strange begins to happen to Grian, and he leaves the Island for information. But of course, his fellow Hermits have to come rescue him. He spends some time recovering and thinks it's all in the past. But after accidentally poisoning Mumbo, Grian discoveres the story isn't quite over yet.

"But," he started, tilting the player's chin up with the tip of his sword. "Every ruler has their downfall eventually." The Watcher smirked at the player, a triumphant glint in his eyes. "While that may be true, we don't rule." The player leaned back, kicking the sword out of his face and, faster than the blink of an eye, held the Watcher at bow-point. "We protect." After a fight with Mumbo, Grian decides he needs time away from his best friend. He works on his time machine to take his mind off of it, but during testing, he accidentally takes himself back to the worst years of his life. Highschool. With the time machine missing, and Mumbo following him to Yandere Highschool, the 2 Hermits have to find their way back to Hermitcraft and survive Sam and his antics all over again. TL:DR - Grian and Mumbo are sent back to Yandere Highschool and have to find the time machine and get home. All bad things start with storms, So when a freak storm appears on the server it's no wonder things go wrong. After Grian ends up in an unfortunate accident he wakes up to find himself in an unrecognisable forest with no memory of his past events and unusual powers that he feels he shouldn't have anymore, along with some troubling side effects. As he tries to remember what happened to him and who this mysterious white eyed figure that is always nearby is, he makes new friends under a new, or rather old name. He begins to wonder what his old life was like, and if it really mattered, Will he be able to remember what happened before something horrible happens, or will he go on his own path, unaware of everything he's leaving behind [this is not a ship fic, sorry if you came here for any of that [this is me the to be a tragic story line and may have a few disturbing topics including gore and various mental health issues [Reader discretion is advised (Yes there will be a few Oc's in this story but nothing that changes the HermitCraft cannon too much)

With Grian still recovering and Evil Taurtis stronger than ever, Ex and Taurtis put their plan in motion, and not a moment too soon.
