Damian Wayne is not jealous of the smart, likable, reserved- but still excitable Parisian that he shares almost every class with. He isn't. He refuses to deal with such a naïve and substanceless girl- until she corrects him in class. Damian gets payback, correcting her as he sees fit. He refuses to lose to such an unworthy opponent. She will not win. Marinette is more than prepared to stand her ground.

Marinette learns to deal with Plagg's reckless and chaotic behavior, and Adrien grows to deal with the stresses of being Mister Bug. As soon as the two start to have everything under control, something dangerous happens with the Miraculous and dark energy starts to grow on Marientte and Adrien.
