I'm going to upload any short stories that I have to write for my English GCSE, because why not?! I loved writing them and I might as well share them - it would be a shame for them to just sit in my folder! :) This includes: The Lakeside (mock exam - I got 40/40 for this one)* The Decision (mock exam - I got 39/40 for this one) The Storm (a homework, not under exam conditions) *(I also entered this one into the Wicked (the musical) Young Writers Award and got shortlisted which was pretty cool 😊) Any feedback is welcome! :) And good luck with your exams... ~Alice **UPDATE**: I got a 9 in both my English Lit and my English Lang GCSE exams!!! So I am extremely happy 😊(but sad that I'm not doing English A Level! 😔) (I own all of these - please do not replicate them in your exams!)

If you haven't guessed, this book is full of my different descriptive writing works from April of 2018 to present. Each idea is prompted by either readers, my friends or how I feel about something. If you do enjoy my work and want to request a topic, feel free to message me or comment on the most recent chapter and I'll see what I'll be able to do for you. I want to thank everyone who takes the time to read my book, whether it's one chapter or the whole thing, I want to thank you as this is my way of expressing who I am. One 'person' I would like to thank is my writing partner and my bundle of inspiration and joy, that is my cat Inka.

This book is a compilation of narratives and mainly descriptives that I wrote as practice work for my IGCSE First Language English course. They are mostly unreviewed and I do not claim that they will achieve top band marks. However, it will be helpful in understanding the basic format I followed to produce stories and descriptions. Leave any requests in comments or contact me and I'll do my best to answer.

I decided to make a book on all the Power and Conflict poems for the English GCSE exams. NOTE: This book's analyses are very long and wordy due to much information from different sources. Although they are segmented, some may not find too much comfortable, so I've linked main the main resources I've gotten and have attached video analyses from mrbruff, a youtuber known for analyses. Sources are from multiple websites (e.g. BBC.com, madameanglaise.wordpress.com, poemanalysis.com, shmoop.com), which I have combined to make the ultimate revision book pretty much, so please don't get angry at me for copying. Good luck ;) EDIT: Added an extra chapter with some practice questions you guys can practice.
