"Do you have any idea how damn frustrating you are?" He trapped me between him and the wall. Stubbornly, I looked squarely at him, "You say this like it's news to you." He pursed his lips, clenched his jaw, and stared at me with darkened eyes before he closed the gap between us. I stared at him squarely as I felt his body heat radiated off me, my lips parted and my breathing picked up a notch. He placed one hand on the wall and brought his lips an inch away from mine as the other hand trailed up my arms, "I am going to make you feel my frustration." I ran my finger along his jaw and dared him with my eyes, "I'm Mila," I grinned, "You can try but we both know you won't succeed." He ran his thumb over my bottom lip, "Don't take my love for you as weakness," he stated and captured my lips with a fiery kiss. The road to love for Mila and Mitchell wasn't easy, but they finally reached their destination after many bumps along the way. Blissfully in love, they set off on another journey together but instead of the Highway, they hit the high seas. However, love and life aren't always smooth sail and they learn that when they embark on their adult life after college. Mitchell is trying to prove to his father he is worthy of handling the grand Clarke Empire one day while Mila is determined to make her mark in the medical world. Two strong personalities have finally accepted they love each other but both are set in their ways and stubborn with unbreakable egos. Can their love weather storms in their path or will things like jealousy, insecurity, and family stand in their way to happily ever after?

"Do you ever give being insufferable a rest? Don't you get tired of annoying me and then acting smug about it?" Mitchell annoyed asked the infuriating girl sitting across him. "Why do you always find a fault with everything I say or do? Could it be that I'm the first girl that isn't flustered around the infamous Mitchell Clarke?" Mila raised a brow. Mitchell, once again annoyed with the girl who's been taunting and teasing him for way too long abruptly stood up from his chair and made his way across the table to where she was seated, he placed one hand on the table and the other on the headrest of her chair and hovered over her, his face a mere centimeter away from hers. "Ooh turn on the air-conditioner things are about to get H.O.T - hot." Mila remarked as she fanned herself. "Don't act invincible, I see you when I'm not looking, you're dying for me." He whispered Mila shifted up in her seat and moved closer to him, she looked in his eyes and challenged, "If you're man enough, out that theory to the test and kiss me." Mitchell and Mila are complete opposites. They meet once on a very drunken which results in an attempted one night stand gone bad. Thereafter, they swear to forget it and each other. Fate however brings them together when their best friends take a decision to get married in Vegas. "I don't trust you." Amelia said in all honesty. "Smart girl." Brady said. Amelia took a step closer. "But," Brady stopped what he was busy with and watched with curious eyes as Amelia stood a few feet away from him with her wide blue eyes solely on him. "But no matter how much I want to, I can't stay away." Brady dropped the wrench that was in his hand and after wiping the slight amount of grease off his forehead he stepped closer to her. "I take back what I said." He said tilting his head to the side. "You have to be the stupidest girl I know." Amelia took in a breath. "That's what my brain keeps on telling me too." "Then listen to your brain." Brady said menacingly. "Because I doubt daddy would want his precious angel to be playing with broken toys." "I don't care." Amelia stated confidently. Brady caught her off guard and grabbed her waist, yanking her closer to him. "If you intend on keeping your heart in one piece, I suggest you start to care." Amelia gulped. "Well, I'm all about taking risks and this is a risk I'm willing to take Brady." Brady Ryland and Amelia Stanton are worlds apart, he's a damned bad boy with a troubled childhood and she's a spoilt girl with the world at her feet. Until one day when they meet under unusual circumstances and perspectives and plans start to change but mostly they start to change each other. Among demons of the past, deceit, betrayal, love and family, lays the bittersweet tale of close to perfect Amelia and flawed Brady.
