Sousuke and Makoto have seen each other around but never thought about meeting one another. Sousuke makes a move on Makoto one day and starts the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Literal soumako trash

"The late evening light peeked through the gray curtains, even though it was already subdued by the heavy cloud coverage brought on by the rain; the day was waning by. Makoto laid on Sousuke's bed, his mind swimming with thoughts. He tried to focus on what he could hear: the hum of the AC unit above his head, the cathartic whir of the microwave as Sousuke reheated the tea, and the deafening, roaring, beating of his own heart. He could still feel that his face was flushed, his whole body was sailing on the sensation unlike any he had experienced before." Makoto Tachibana left Iwatobi for Tokyo a year ago and has been diligently working at his studies as well as teaching kids at the local pool. He stays in touch with all of his friends, all of whom are swimming and pursuing their dreams. Makoto is happy but can't help to wonder, is something, or someone, missing from his life? Could it be the blue-eyed boy he had befriended at Samezuka all this time ago?
