Tezuka Yumiko has always been overshadowed by her younger brother, by 10 minutes, Tezuka Kunimitsu. She was an average player for most of her elementary school days. When she turned 8 years old, she decided to join the Rikkaidai school system which consisted of elementary school, junior high, and senior high. Yumiko wanted to stay in Rikkai's dorms. During a small tournament, a woman named, Miyagawa Emiri saw this girl's talent and potential. She may have lost the tournament but she showed signs of persistence, not giving up, and mental skill. Miyagawa-sensei was a former pro but turned into a coach. After approaching Yumiko, from then on, she was her coach. Yumiko trained hard, long hours every single day until she got to junior high. The J.T.A (Japan Tennis Association) gave her special permission to be on the Rikkaidai Boy's Tennis team when she was a freshman. Her skills throughout gave her the nickname 'Rikkaidai's Queen'. She, with Seiichi Yukimura, led Rikkaidai to their national championships. But one thing is... Throughout the years, she never talked to her twin brother. Yes, they've seen each other at tournaments. But never said a word to each other. Nor did he ever know she was on the Boy's Tennis Team. Yumiko had many goals. But number one was... To beat Tezuka Kunimitsu - written by icyhct - I did not write prince of tennis nor do I own it - includes a (lot)bit of swearing and cute lovey-dovey stuff because I exist
