Over the course of a century, Lady Celebríel of Rivendell has wandered Middle Earth; seeking the rangers of the far north, visiting her kin in Lothlórien, journeying to the distant, western seashore. And not once, in a hundred years, has she ventured into the vast dark of Mirkwood forest. So when Gandalf the Grey, most mischievous of the five wizards, invites her to a gathering in the Shire with the promise of excitement, she simply cannot refuse. Along with thirteen dwarves and a rather reluctant halfling, Celebríel embarks on Thorin Oakenshield's quest to reclaim the lost city of Erebor. Through many twists and turns, the company's wanderings finally deposits her back onto the doorstep of the very place she had been avoiding for years. She finds herself once more in the heart of the Woodland realm and confronted by the prince she has spent a century trying to forget. Faced with old emotions rising once more to the surface, Celebríel is forced to make a choice. Does she follow the company of dwarves beyond Mirkwood, ignoring the door that fate has led her to reopen? Or does she listen to her heart this time and pursue the prince that slipped through her fingers all those years ago? ~~~ Book 2 of the "Daughter of Lórien" Trilogy [LotR Fanfiction] This story occurs during the events of The Hobbit. *I own nothing except my original characters. "I LOVED IT" - Clumsy_weirdo_353 "So your sister likes to get drunk and beat up guys twice her size," Taylor said, her eyes closed. "Yup." A beat. "So you can teleport." "Yup." Another slice of silence. "So you really can fight," she said. "Yup." A single heartbeat. "So you can teleport." "Yup." "Cool. Cool, cool, cool." Taylor squinted at him, his outward calm mystifying. "You're taking this a lot better than I imagined," she said. He shrugged, but like a bomb, he exploded. "Holy- You can teleport!" Taylor nodded once with the inevitable. "Yeah, that was more like what I was expecting." Taylor's life has been thrown into tailspin. Since discovering she could teleport six months ago she's been trying to juggle being a high school student by day, and a vigilante by night with failing results. Unable to stay awake in classes from her late nights, her grades are dropping fast, and to top it off her exhaustion has she left friendless. When saving late night employees from a burning building puts Taylor in the path of a dangerous criminal, she ends up in an altercation that forces her to realize she needs help. Help comes from two unlikely people: Clint and Dominic who bring their own complications. As the problems keep building, Taylor is quickly learning that having an ability doesn't mean she knows how to protect the city, let alone herself. "It was amazing!!! And really realistic for a superhero book, you even found an explanation for why she has her powers. It also shows that even though she has powers she still is human" - gui_iris "OMG I LOVE THIS BOOK WITH ALL MY HEART" - _cooloreo_ "I laughed, I cried, I screamed out in frustration, but that's what makes this book so amazing, along with the amazing character growth and plot twists that still got me reeling to this day 😂" - Theaxbank "This is a delightful action packed read that'll keep you at the edge of your seat. Would recommend." Miathesmall

"This book is therapy!" - Abbieking86 "I want to shoot my left knee cap," Elliot said. "A natural response. Is it because you favor your right?" Tristan asked. "No, not particularly," she replied. "So the issue is...?" "I found the most amazing writer." "Damn! I hate when that happens," Tristan said. Is it better to write well, or to be well known? Elliot McKenzie is a prolific YA writer. Having published four books by the time she left high school, she is ready to branch out. For her fifth novel, she decided to use dual point of views. Wanting the male point of view to ring true, she needs a co-author. In her search for a co-author, she encounters Beck Daniels, a cocky introvert with the habit of speaking his mind. After their first meeting, Beck is the last person Elliot wants to work with. That is, until she reads his writing. As they begin to write together, Beck challenges Elliot's formulaic and clichéd writing, while Elliot calls out Beck's self-sabotage and procrastination. Mix in a crazy family, her sister's wedding and a publishing deadline; and Elliot might discover she has more of a voice than she thought. "This story!! Seriously, I'm already hooked! Due to unknown reasons, Sophie Foster has just woken up in Book 1 at the museum with all her memories still intact. Now as a 12-year-old, Sophie must figure out how to make everything go right this time and try to stop the Neverseen in the process. This fanfiction was started in late 2018, right before Flashback was published. Please keep in mind that some of the ideas will reflect this. Everything in this fanfiction takes place before Legacy to avoid any confusion. Some ideas, wording, and dialogue are taken straight from Shannon Messenger's Keeper of the Lost Cities in order to make the plotline make sense. As Emery said in book 5, "We had our own Splotching match of sorts to test it out before we came here today-but that's a story for another time." Well, now is that time! :) Thank you so much to @-AshTree- for making the cover, it's beautifull!!
