When Freedom Fighter Nara meets Aang, Katara and Sokka she quickly realises that Aang is the Avatar and that her leader, Jet, isn't as good as he makes himself out to be. She ends up travelling with the three friends, bound for the North Pole. No one is quite sure what to make of each other. Nara has learned to be ruthless and calculating and is taken aback by Aang's endless cheer. The Avatar and friends aren't sure about this spy who's fallen into their midst either, but Sokka is determined to know her. Nara excepted to be fighting a war, she just never thought it would be alongside three children who, despite everything, still want to be kids.

In nature, true balance is demonstrated through the pureness of peace and the resistance to chaos. Though neither can be fully maintained, the balance teeters on a thin line but will always align.
