Just before sixth-year begins, Harry is assaulted by Horace Slughorn. Once this happens, the most unlikely person saves him - Severus Snape. In the wake of this, not all is as it seems, and Harry must work hard to figure out why it is always him, and that desire, no matter how unorthodox, is the key to finding love.

What begins as a reconciliation turns into so much more, especially when one must contend with war, possible loss of family, and the unknown.

Harry Potter finally understands why his potions professor, Severus Snape, seems to pretty much hate the ground he walks on, after Harry inadvertently gets into his Pensieve during an Occlumency lesson. Despite his attempts at apologizing, the older man doesn't seem to want to hear it. As time goes by, however, and their lessons are forced to resume again, Harry comes to terms with his attraction towards the older man, and Severus, although reluctant to do so, gives in to kissing the young man, and a relationship blooms between them. When times are shaken up because of various Death Eaters threatening to destroy life as they know it, both men are thrust into the center of it all, especially when Sirius Black, now Harry's guardian, catches wind of the relationship and puts an end to it by force. Will their love be strong enough to handle the war, their separation, and will it prove to be the power the Dark Lord knows not?

For those of you who don't enjoy Sirry, I adapted the same Sirry story I just wrote to fit Snarry. 1850s, England. Harry Potter, Earl of Godric's Hollow, stumbles upon the shop of Severus Snape, Duke of Spinner's End - a chocolate shop. Harry agrees to be an apprentice for Severus, and sparks soon fly, and not just in the kitchen.

September 1, 1746 - Hogwarts Castle is again opened for young witches and wizards to learn how to be proper within the Wizarding World, with many tutors on hand to educate them in history, Transfiguration, charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, and potions. Albus Dumbledore soon announces a Christmas ball, and all is well. December 1, 1749 - Dumbledore bans Christmas balls from Hogwarts castle, because he is tired of wasting Galleons on dancing shoes. December 12, 1749 - Harry, Ron, and Draco devise a plan to still have Christmas balls, which is where our story begins...

Prequel to The Wolf Within Harry presents as an Omega at age thirteen. Severus knows that they are mates, but says nothing, not wanting to take the opportunity away from Harry to choose. After the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, Voldemort is killed by Harry, and Harry travels to St. Lucia after taking his NEWTs to get away from Britain. There, he encounters Severus, and the pair form a bond which will last a lifetime.

This story is about feeling love and denying it. Harry is in his second year at Hagwarts and he starts to feel insecure about his feelings. Everything is torturing him, including his professor for potions making. But what could he do about this feelings? Let them out or hide them in himself?
