After 5 years stuck in a wall, Klaus is finally rescued and by no one other than Caroline Forbes. After Caroline helps him getting out of New Orleans she tells him how he was 5 years in that wall, how Haley has been doing everything in her power to get the Originals back and how along the way she became good friends with Haley and his daughter and also how Hope is best friends with her daughters. In here Caroline didn't got back with Stefan. Nothing happened to Enzo nor Damon. Caroline didn't married Alaric but they continued to live in Dallas trying to live as normal as they could. This story won't follow what happened in the TVD/TO universe.

This isn't a regular story based on the TV show The Vampire Diaries. Caroline from the year 2018 and her 4 years old fraternal twins siphoner daughters find themselves into the past. They send themselves into the past as siphoner daughters were playing with Silas talisman which was a time turner too. Future Caroline gets shocked to see the people from her past and they get shocked to see Caroline so mature and badass mother of twin daughters.
