But the situation turns upside down as a slave girl named Rey is captured after Ren has a vision that she carries the three stones he needs, and brought to his court to be questioned. Ben's vision changes completely when he finds himself not able to harm her as he did to all his enemies. And even more, he begins to feel a strange compassion and protectiveness toward the girl. But he is a half-elf, whose lives are long, and she is a mortal human. Would he go so far as to choose her over it? Or is there a solution right before their eyes? King Snoke, a vicious leader feared by many, holds his annual royal dance at the Black Castle. Rey Kenobi being a dignitary's daughter is forced to attend against her goodwill. At the royal dance attracts Rey the attention of the young dark Prince Kylo as he discovers they have something in common. Soon Rey finds herself in a predicament as she gets involved in the royalty's dirty business and has no other choice but to marry Prince Kylo.

However, both individuals prayed and hoped for very different outcomes. Rey wanted nothing more than to bring Kylo Ren back to the Light. She wanted to show him the wonders it provided and the life they could have if he returned to her. Kylo wanted to bring her to the Dark Side. He wanted to rule with his bride by his side.
