After one hundred years of war, the Fire Nation are nearing victory. The Avatar has disappeared, and the people fear that nothing will stop the ruthless Fire Lord Ozai from taking over the world and destroying the balance. Amelia is a girl from our world who has been torn from her family and placed in the middle of a war. Afraid and confused, she desperately tries to learn how she got there and why, while constantly fighting with a certain banished Prince who kidnapped her, and all he stands for. Princess Himoko of Omashu is the Great Grand-Daughter of King Bumi. Adopted Grand Daughter to be more clear. Her parents were the last air benders in existence, leaving her alone after a attack on them by the Fire Nation, leaving her all alone until King Bumi found her and took her in as his own. Unable to bend air like her deceased parents, she was able to bend sound waves, and produce them as well. Making a new type of bending at age 6 that she named 'Sound Bending', being the first in existence to ever bend anything that wasn't a element. Years later, on her 15Th Birthday, Himoko is sent off on a journey with the Avatar and two Southern Water Tribe Siblings to help defeat the Fire Lord, and maybe even teach Avatar Aang her bending.

Princess Himoko of Omashu's life changed when the Avatar visited her city, for the better or worse she doesn't know yet, all that she knows right now is to get to Ba Sing Se and stay under the radar of the Fire Nation, having been revealed as an Air Nomad to the world, and now, the surviving Fire Nation soldiers that wreaked havoc on the North Pole, know that she is able to bend Sound. And has notified the FireLord, Ozai. Along the way, she will learn more about what it means to be the Adversary, and how to bend Sound in more ways than she thought was possible.
