Oh wow, was it warm in here? No actually, it was pretty cold, so why was his face hot? And WHY was his heart feeling like it was about to explode? You know what, he was just gonna let the hero go. This was too much. Now add in another psychotic villain bent on killing NightHawk, and things just get ridiculous.

Niek wird zum Tode verurteilt. Für ihn bedeutet dies, dass er aus der unterirdischen, sicheren Stadt an die von Drachenwesen beherrschte Oberwelt geschickt wird, um dort gefressen zu werden. Womit er nicht gerechnet hat, ist, dass sich an der Oberwelt eine ganze Gruppe überlebender Straftäter zusammengerottet hat, um sich an dem König und seinem ungerechten System zu rächen. Und die Drachen... die sind auch nicht unbedingt, was sie vorgeben zu sein.

Auf der Suche nach Antworten macht die Gruppe eine erschreckende Entdeckung.
