Once, light graced the entire kingdom of Roahla, but now the land is shrouded in darkness. The land was cursed to be shunned by the sun, and the moon is left as the largest source of light. Only magic keeps the land alive after a century of darkness. Celia is a normal human in the sun-forsaken land of Roahla until a young dragon chooses her to be her rider. With the aid of magic from her dragon, Celia goes on a quest to find what remains of the last rays of the last sunset. She hopes to use them to restore the sun to Roahla. Little does she know, there are those who do not desire the return of the sun. Both friends and foes await the human girl and her dragon. Completed! Constructive criticism and critiques are welcome. Thank you for looking at my story! I appreciate it! Sneak Peek! "You're sixteen, you went through twelve years of school, and you passed the test to be one of the Potentials in the Choosing. You even got the third highest score in the class...out of five...only four of who passed... I'm average! I'm not the best." She paced, "What if I do something stupid and ruin my chances to be chosen? That's even worse than not being chosen at all!" "Calm... caaaalllmm..." Celia slowly inhaled, then attempted to regain her focus by explaining what she had to do in the simplest way possible. "All I have to do is go out there when I am called, stand in front of the dragons, then open my mind and soul for examination by the draga. That's simple enough." Okay so, recap. This isn't canon, like at all so, shut up. It's also gay, like a lot, so, shut up. Toph has just joined the group teaching/protecting aang. They're all adjusting, so it's a bit difficult. This is directly before the duel at the abandoned town. Alright now that that's settled, we need a bit more info to the other half of this. Zuko. Do you remember the small town Zuko was in? The one with the little boy, and family, the one with the horrible guards? What if Zuko never told them his identity, what if he settled down in an abandoned house for the time being. What if the little boy named Kwasi became a like a brother to him? The town wasn't protected well. It was in the space between a huge lake and a giant canyon. Swamp trees riddled the town. Sure it was protected naturally, but that won't stop the fire nation if they were about to attack. So that's when Zuko came up with his plan. It may or may not involve his alter ego, the blue spirit. The Avatar and his gaang finally lose the three trailing them, Toph and Katarta are kind of at war with one another. Aang is doing his best not to lose it completely. They come across a town, with a giant valley on one side, and a massive lake on the other. The perfect place to practice both earth bending and water bending. So I think that's enough background info on the matter, oh and one more thing, Zuko and Aang will eventually get together, and like kiss and stuff. Just thought I should tell you now.

Thirst. It was a painfully persistent ache that clawed its way to full attention. It was all he could feel, all he could think. Water filled his mouth when he smelt something; it was sweet, but had a spicy scent that made his nostrils flare and his toes curl. The aroma had him salivating like a dog as the ache became too much to ignore. Feed, was the only coherant thought as he got up from his grave and started hunting

It's hard to believe that a boy who didn't believe in love and a boy who didn't believe he could love himself would have much to learn from each other. But it would turn out that way, of course; with everything to gain and even more to lose. As it turned out, both Liam and Jamie needed to learn not to trust the dim lights and neon nights. This is a backwards love story.

Levi wasn't the kind of guy to go around kissing strangers, least of all the insufferable princes these events tended to attract. But something about Prince Charles made him feel a little stupid -- almost stupid enough to believe in love at first sight. ~~~ When Levi, the youngest prince of Arthur Island, is forced by his parents to attend a performative "good relations" ball in their rival country, he can't wait for the night to end. That is, until he meets Prince Charles, the charming heir to the Elizabethan throne. Love is in the air, so palpable they can't seem to escape it no matter how hard they try. As if navigating seventeen-year-old emotions isn't hard enough already, their families drop a bomb that will only make it harder: In the name of permanent peace, Prince Charles is to marry Arthur's youngest royal. No, not Levi. His twin sister, Amelia.

At first glance, nobody would be able to tell that Nathaniel Jean had a problem. Or second glance, or third, or fourth. After all, he had everything. He was a captain of his school's soccer team and one of the top players in the state. He had a big house and money to spend. He had family, he had friends, he had fun, he had faith. He never meant for it to happen. He never wanted to look at another man in the way he should have been looking at a woman. The idea had disgusted him for most of his life - living in a heavily Catholic town with heavily Catholic parents, homophobia was the only response he knew. That didn't change when he first realized that he didn't like girls. No, Nathaniel Jean was still homophobic. He hated the idea of a man sleeping with another man. He was raised on the notion that all gays went to hell, and he believed it. He despised them, and so he despised himself. Nathaniel Jean was more fortunate than most, because help did arrive for him. Help by the name of Lucas Morgan, they boy he'd always known but never known. The boy with big dreams and bigger talent. The boy that changed Nathaniel's life over the course of their thirty-six week long senior year.
