Everyone tells him that he's jealous of Dustin finding another older friend to have by his side. But no one knows why and that it's not all jealousy. Tw: 5 stages of grief but really really intense (i think) i'm not sure what else i don't really have this planned out i'm just kinda going with it a lot of trauma and mental breakdowns gore and descriptions of pain and like immense grieving (bc obviously... after season 4 like what do u expect) in this story everyone is fine, except for phycological trauma obviously, except for Eddie. Max lives, the town doesn't shatter and crack, it's all fine and dandy. Eddie is dead, everyone is heartbroken and no one knows how to really cope with it. Especially Steve.
