It's the weekend before Phineas and Ferb start their sophomore year, and they get word of two step-sisters moving in next-door. The next day, they get another new neighbor, who moves in next door next to Isabella. Phineas and Ferb meet all three of them as they try to help their new friends get acquainted around Danville. One day, Ferb develops a crush on one of the step-sisters next-door, and he's afraid she won't like him. Meanwhile, the boy next-door to Isabella develops feelings for the other step-sister, feeling she won't like him back. All is going fine and dandy till one day when Dr. Doofenshmirtz's inators goes off randomly, and one thing falls after another. What exactly will happen? It's freshman year, and the gang are preparing for the Homecoming dance this Friday. Isabella wants to ask Phineas to the dance, but she knows it'll take more than asking to get him to come along. Meanwhile, Ferb has developed a crush on someone, despite every girl in Danville having a MAJOR crush on him. One day, Phineas and Ferb are enjoying the sunshine, thinking of ways of how to make their first Homecoming impactful. Suddenly, a beam appears out of nowhere, swapping the two boys' personality. This creates an issue, because they have no way of reversing it till AFTER the dance. Keep in mind that the boys swapped personalities(meaning Phineas has Ferb's quiet self, while Ferb has Phineas' outgoing attitude.) While this is happening, Ferb has ideas to help his brother get with Isabella, only if his brother promises to help him get his crush. After a long, yet fun summer, the gang start their 8th grade school year. Everything seems to be going well so far; Isabella still has a major crush on Phineas, and Phineas is oblivious as always. However, things do turn in the wrong direction when the new kid, Josh, starts to bully Phineas and the gang. Will the gang find out how to stop it? Will Phineas actually reciprocate Isabella's feelings after 8 long years? (P.S. there will be a hint of Phinabella and possibly Ferbnessa, so enjoy!)
