It turns out that Hermione is not a muggleborn but a pureblood and that too a Gaunt, which means she is the descendant of Voldemorts aunt. Hermione enters the 8th year with a change, a change of house? Gryffindor or Slytherin? Will she become head girl? Who would be head boy? Why is she re-housed? Is she having an identity crisis? The previous seventh-year students have returned for their eighth and final year since their entire seventh year was spent fighting off Voldemort and his death eaters. With not enough witches and wizards left in the population, a new law is put into place, those ages 17-25 are expected to marry and produce children in the next two years of their life. Marriage shall be required in one year. If a witch or wizard of age refuses to wed, their wands will be snapped and magic taken away. Not wishing this, the seventh and eighth-year students obey, they would be placed into an arranged marriage, based on what the sorting hats new brother decides. Who will be placed with who?
