Four empires united by a powerful authority known as the "Magic Council", has reigned over the four corners of the earth for nearly a century. East, West, North, and South. These four empires are formally known as... "The Compass of Casters." The Compass controls the rotation of the earth and keeps peace and balance throughout the world. However, there's one empire that is feared greatly by both humans and casters, an empire that reigns over the eastern lands titled, "The Sacrificial Casters" or "Saki's". When a bloodline of this empire obtains the title of full-fledged Caster; normally called True-Caster, they've exceeded the boundaries of magic and can use it without the use of "Monarian" language. There is a catch however. In order to obtain the title of True-Caster, a person of equal blood must be slain. Thus, aiming to obtain that title in the Saki Empire has been forbidden by the magic council. Those who had tried to obtain it after the law was set in place, were mercilessly executed. Our story begins with the birth of a baby, one that carries the blood of a Saki and became full-fledged at it's birth. Created by: Dimonlee Moore (@x_caster) Cover by: K. Weikel (@renesmeewolfe)

Abe Helsing is nothing like the father Van used to daydream about. Strict and unfeeling, it becomes clear he is a man with secrets and schemes. Her only desire is to escape him and the cold mausoleum he calls a home before she's in too deep. That is until she meets the disarmingly charming Luca Brooks. The fact that her father forbids her from seeing him only makes him even more tempting. Luca Brooks has never lived anywhere but Briarwood, and he knows he never will. His family signed a contract centuries ago. Their continued survival in exchange for freedom. When Van arrives in town, he's intrigued by her- not just because she's beautiful but because she represents everything he can never have. For one brief moment, he thinks a taste of the new girl might quench his thirst for the outside world, but that hope goes up in flames when he discovers her father is the very man behind his family's imprisonment. They're mortal enemies- destined to hate one another, hunt one another, end one another. Forbidden. But sometimes Fate has other plans.

Night marches on the Everburning City. The life-killing mist enshrouding the world, the Gloam, clings to the walls. Golems, towering monsters of stone, shake the earth as they march. And the dead rise again, puppeteered by some distant, titanic power. For Corporal Valen Redgrave, on the watch at the outermost walls of the City, the night marks the end of the military life he has known. The idyllic simpering of the watch has ended, and Valen finds himself the pillar upon which his companions' courage rests. For Gwendolyn Aranhall, stewarding a work rehabilitation camp for youth guilty of petty crimes, the night heralds the dismantling of everything she has known. As the Gloam claims the world around her, and she becomes the last thing standing between children and monsters, she finds in herself a heart unbroken by her fear. And that resilience will see darker responsibilities laid upon her. For Crafter Olivia Polden, the fire she commands and the red coat she wears represents the single greatest power in the City. Weirder of a power that could doom the City as surely as the foes marching upon it, she will stand first among those sent to halt the invasion. And only then, begin to learn how to live with despair. There is no night in the Everburning City. There can never be. (Cover courtesy of Mahana258)

Helianthus was a small-town boy, most comfortable in the company of sheep and horses out on a wild mountainside. Though he left home to join the Royal Legion, he was never a soldier no matter how easily he took to battle. When he saves the town from invaders during his first visit in ten years, the title 'hero' is nothing more to him than a ridiculous nickname. At heart, Helianthus knew he would always be a small-town boy. He just needed to solve all of his town's problems, let the dust settle, and give everyone some time to forget he was anything more than a reclusive farmer. Until he finds himself face to face with The Sun.
