She has actively tried to get as far away from him as possible after he dumped her belongings she had left behind on her friend's front lawn and then set them alight, flipping her off as he lit a cigarette and walked off to his car. Honestly, she expected more from him. She knew what the thought of her cheating on him would do - it had been an irrational fear that had kept him up at night during their six months together. Their relationship was toxic from the start. Both were nineteen, both selfish, both hot-headed, and loud-mouthed; and both not knowing what the fuck to do in a real adult relationship, plus they were both putting more effort into their careers than each other. Neither of them are toxic people to be fair, both were raised by good families with good morals and too much love. It had just been their timing - it was off, they found each other at the worst possible time. It's a lesson well learned. Her lesson was simple - men can go fuck themselves, especially Austin, and Austin's lesson? Find a woman and marry the fuck out of her - the bastard. ~~~~~~~~~~ Lux has vowed to never cross paths with her ex, Austin, again. Life, however, likes fucking with her.

Ava watches as Austin clings to Gracie, his shoulders shaking as he buries his face in her blankets, powerless to ease the grief that holds him. He's torn between the brief promise of two nights and the weight of his own emotions. Ava can't fix this, but she can't walk away either. When Austin speaks, his words echo with a raw desperation. "How do I leave her like this? It's only two nights... my dad says it's only two nights. But that's the problem. It's only two nights." Sitting beside him, Ava offers no simple answers, just the truth she's learned over the years. Time is a fleeting thing, and if you measure it by hours or days, you'll never have enough. Instead, you count the moments that matter. You hold onto memories, letting them string together to form something beautiful, even when life feels like it's slipping through your fingers. "Everybody's going to hurt you," she tells him, her voice steady, yet heavy with understanding. "You just gotta find the one worth suffering for." But as Austin struggles to hold on to what he loves, he begins to wonder: Is Gracie worth the pain? And if he lets go, what will be left of him? In a world where time is never enough, Ava and Austin must learn what it really means to choose love-and to embrace the fleeting moments that will shape their futures. A deeply emotional story of love, loss, and the memories that make us who we are.

Jack smiles and pushes off the wall then walks slowly over to Austin with a menacing grin on his face. Austin groans. He is going to go full South African on him. "Austin, I am going to tell you something. Now, just calm down, hey. When you hear this it might blow your mind. If you think you can't handle it just grab a fucking chair. Sit down. Grab an ice pack to put on your nut sack because when you hear this it's going to take a moment to sink in. So, Ya, if you need to prepare yourself, go do some lite stretching, maybe a couple of deep breaths because this will blow your fucking tits my brew. So here we go are you ready for it?" "Fuck off, Jack." "You love Honey." Austin stares at Jack and then slowly closes his hotel door. He needs a fucking moment and maybe that ice pack. Love? No love. No anything. His phone rings again, giving him a fright and so he jumps and throws it across his hotel room - hard. It smashes into a million pieces on the wall across from him. "Need a new phone?" Jack asks through the door. "No," Austin says softly. "So that was just your balls I heard dropping?" Jack asks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Austin is a singer at the top of his game which means an endless flow of parties, drinks, and very beautiful women. That is until he finds a kid sitting at his kitchen table. It starts a chain of events that have him questioning who he is, who he has been sharing his house with, and why one woman, in particular, has suddenly become rather fascinating - but he does not, under any circumstance, love her.

"Kendra..." he took a deep breath trying to clear his head. He had come here to say goodbye, to cut ties amicably without causing her any more pain than he already had. "How could you even consider anything after what I did..." "It wasn't your fault." Her voice was soft, trying to keep their conversation private from the rest of the cafe. His eyes shot to the coffee mug in his hand, he knew he would lose his composure if he looked at her. "I shouldn't have been driving." "Austin." She sighed, her voice pleading for him to listen to her. "I was over." "And he ran a red." She snapped back quickly, leaning in to the table closer to him. "I should have seen him coming, I should have been able to avoid it." "Austin it was an accident, they happen. No one blames you." He took a steadying breath. Maybe, maybe there was a chance he could accept that part. "And the rest. You really think that wasn't my fault?" ******* Eighteen months ago one drink had changed his life. "That is not clothing, it's not even underwear," he says, his voice strained. "No, but it is very provocative don't you think?" she says - her voice sultry. She watches as Austin's jaw clenches in his annoyance as he keeps his eyes trained on the wall across the room and away from her. "I will stay. Get dressed," he mumbles eventually - he looks like he is in pain. "Oh, ok, but only if you insist," Angel says turning toward her dressing room. "I am going home to repack my bags, I will be back later this evening," Austin says and Angel spins around. "I am coming with you!" "No. I will be back later." "Well then don't bother letting me know when you are back - I will be busy having fun." "My men will not let you leave." Austin is now looking at her, making sure to keep his eyes firmly on hers. He is so stubborn. Angel steps forward and takes his hand placing it on her side then leaning into him. "I don't need to leave this house to have a little fun, Austin...with all these men around it's like a buffet," she whispers letting her wet tongue dance over her lips slowly. He has not moved his hand and his penetrating blue-eyed stare cuts right through her.
