He never even knew about the supernatural until he discovered his powers at 17. He cared for his 'parents' until they died an untimely death just a few years after Rebekah left. After that it seemed as if he fell off of the face of the earth. He discovered this town named Beacon Hills, as it seemed he was drawn there. He was tired of hiding and being lonely. A witch agreed to help him do a spell on himself that would reverse his aging. He 'grew up' to Claudia and John Stilinski as his new parents. He had people that cared for him and that he cared for. He went through crazy things with his friends in this new life but he was also getting even more worried. The witch that helped cast the spell was dead and his powers would be stronger and out of control. Then out of nowhere his real mother shows up with her brothers..
