It was dark out. It was dangerous, and there was a terrified victim who needed saving every time he turned around. There was no money, and there was fame, no cameras. Just the whispers, the rumors, the conspiracies. Which meant, of course, that there were no heroes. Izuku was alone. Really, he'd been alone for years, ever since he learned he had no quirk. Now, though, he couldn't bring himself to follow after Bakugo's back, bravely proclaiming his goal to the world and facing the scorn with determination. Because he knew now, for an inescapable fact, that he didn't want to be a hero. Heroism, after all, is what got his mother killed. The event awakened something in him, something that might have been a quirk. His obsession with quirk analysis and heroes, after all, was not normal. But, heroism as a profession had its limits. All he had ever wanted was to save people, help them however he can. And sometimes, he'd found, the law just got in the way. He didn't hate the laws, or the police force that enforced it, but he now understood very personally there was no "one size fits all" set of rules when it came to suffering. In name, he supposed, he'd become a villain. He found he didn't care. Because in practice, he saved lives, he stopped the suffering of those who needed him, and he was there when no one else could be. And that's what makes a hero, no matter what anyone else tells him.

Izuku Midoriya never had a normal Childhood. He was bullied by the kids at school, losing his only friend but he lost his freedom of choice as well. Izuku's mother. Inko Midoriya, took his dreams of being a hero and threw them out the window and forced him to do things that she wants. All because he is 'Quirkless'. But the age of fourteen Izuku had been acting different, he was more tired and blunt then chipper and happy. Katsuki Bakugo grew curious of Izuku's behaviour, but when he hears Izuku talking on his cell after school he grew worried at the lack of emotion the teen shown. When a Villain takes Izuku hostage Katsuki rushes to save him, fate also seemed to have plans for the teens. When Izuku snaps at his mother, Katsuki and a hero rushed to calm the greenette just to learn a secret that he had kept quiet over the years. Things were looking up for Izuku as he and Katsuki take their first steps together on the road of being heroes. Going to UA is their first step into a world of crazy.

After his dream is finally crushed, Izuku isn't quite sure there's anything left for him to live for, but...he can't exactly kill himself either, not without hurting the people he cares the most about. So, when he realizes that the quirkless can't technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He'll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he's at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he'd be born with a quirk in the next life. NOT MY STORY! This is the story of Izuku Midoriya otherwise known as Dekiru! Izuku meets All Might three years earlier than UA and this leads to him gaining OFA sooner. This allows him to gain a better body suited to controlling OFA and access to full cowling since Izuku is smarter here than canon. However, not everything is sunshine and rainbows. Inko Midoriya died due to undiagnosed cancer during the first year of training. All Might adopted Izuku since it would be the Bakugo's that would take him in. All Might, however, knew of Izuku's past and refused to let him into that home. Nedzu had decided to bring back the annual Heroes vs Villain fight. The fight shall last 5 days and the villain leader is Izuku Midoriya, with the commanding officer of the hero team being Katsuki Bakugo. But, what happens when Izuku is left alone? Izuku has decided enough is enough. Heroes don't always win! Heroes will fail at one point!
