Lance and Keith are mortal enemies, and their constant snide remarks and bickering are beginning to annoy the other Paladins. The only times they get along are when one Is saving the other's butt. When Shiro and Pidge are taken by Galra soldiers, the remaining three Paladins have to bring them back. Keith has to be used as bait, Hunk's not acting quite right, and Lance has begun confining himself to his room. The three seem to be going crazy, and nothing seems to turn out quite right. But unfortunately, Keith falls into the Galra's hands, Lance blames himself. It's all his fault, and the only way to clear himself of the guilt is to save Keith. But at what cost?

Keith is under the impression he's not wanted, so it only makes sense to him that, should the situation arise, he would be the better candidate for being sent god-knows-where by a wormhole aimed directly at Voltron- the team, well... the team just wants Keith back. or Keith Self-Sacrifice Kogane lands himself on a hostile alien planet and finds himself in the hands of merciless alien researchers who don't fully understand the concept of pain, nor the concept of humans. And they want to know more. The question is, can the paladins find their missing friend before it's too late, or will their duties as Defenders of the Universe sidetrack them enough that Keith is pushed to the backs of their minds? Lance, the nineteen year old Altean prince, is bored out of his mind. There's nothing to do, now that he's met literally every girl within his galaxy. He's bored. Until..... Keith is the fourth illegitimate child his father has had. He's never had a friend in his life, other than his siblings. He's never felt like he belonged in his family, being a druid. But that's always been all he's had. Until... They meet at a ball. The ball is a matter of convenience, to discuss an alliance. Keith is that one kid. Everyone's afraid of him, which is strange for an omega. He's got an aura of bloodthirstiness that would scare the toughest of alphas. His ripped and pierced ears, dyed tail and tattoos seem to scare everyone else away. Except, he doesn't want this. He wants to be loved, hugged, and cuddled. But the only person that dares talk to him is his older brother, so he sinks further into himself, pushing others away. That is, until Lance turned up. The dream guy. Sure he has a bit of a flirting problem, but hes hot, athletic, kind, and most importantly, interested in Keith. The Cuban alpha is determined to get past his cold exterior to the cuddly teddy bear Shiro has told him lies beneath, much to Keith's apparent disapproval. (Omegaverse Au. Will contain Hunay and Shallura but it's not centered around it. Mostly Klance. I do not own Voltron Legendary Defender, and characters that are my own will not be specified as such, but you should be able to tell. Not suitable for smol children)

The dark is something we're told to avoid from the moment we're born. But is the dark always all that bad? Half breeds between dark and light creatures aren't a common occurrence, but when they happen, they're shunned for their entire lives, and often driven to suicide. Lance puts up a cheery and excitable exterior, to conceal the terrified, hurt and depressed boy that hides within him. He seems like the luckiest kid in the world, but look beneath and you will see a broken man. His father murdered and his family hiding their blood, Lance can't let anyone see the real him. Keith is horrified by the world. Broken, mistreated and distrusting from the day he was born, he struggles through life, keeping only his older brother Shiro close. He trusts no-one else, dares not let anyone else get close. For if they get close, he might lose them too. Two broken boys that look so lucky, yet are the complete opposite. Maybe, just maybe, together we can learn to embrace, The Dark Sides Of Us.
