This story is inspired by Can Yaman's 2018-2019 series Erkenci Kus and its main characters of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. This storyline features our lovers in a gender-flipped, modern-day Pride and Prejudice situation.

Sanem enters into a dark balcony and bumps into a guy... they shared a kiss there. After leaving, Sanem realises that she is in love with the stranger that kissed her and thus began this inevitable story of love...

He is gone, Can is gone, and Sanem must learn to live his life without the one who had become the centre, the essence. Two souls hundreds of kilometres apart, lost but never forgotten, two hearts beating the same rhythm without having the courage to admit it.

A Sanem and Can story unlike any other

A story about what Can and Sanem go through after he leaves the hospital. But, it will not take them a year to find each other again. The mistakes and misgivings of both from that night will finally bring them back together, but, they will have to work through a lot to trust each other again. This was the one part of the storyline of EK that has stayed with me, the brokeness of both Can and Sanem, I wish the writers had taken the story in a different direction or at least had them back together soon.

10 minutes can be an eternity or a blink of an eye depending on where you're standing. For Sanem Aydin it was all the time it took to loose what she loved more than life itself, but she wouldn't look back. Those ten minutes showed her that her love was not reciprocated in kind and that it had all been an illusion crafted by an experienced seducer upon a naive and foolish girl. But that would be the last time that would ever happen to her. 10 minutes more and she's be flying over her homeland and away from her heartache. 10 minutes later she was falling asleep with a sob choking her to escape and tears burning behind her eyes. 10 minutes later and she was being carried to the bedroom at the back of the jet in the arms of the man she had crushed on so many years ago and who had swept in like a hero to save her. In 10 minutes she would be his if only he would ask. 10 minutes or less. 10 minutes was all it took to see him drunk. 10 minutes later Can Divit had a companion. 10 minutes more was all he needed to get the blond into his bed. 10 minutes was all it took to realize he had made a horrible mistake, but his ego and his pride wouldn't let him turn around and go back. When he finally came to his senses after swimming in his own guilt for weeks on end he all but ran to buy a ticket back home but he was 10 minutes too late. Flights were sold out. For the next 10 minutes he called her number but there was no response. The night would be endless but when he finally made it back he may as well have been a ghost. It was his fault he knew it and he was prepared to crawl back on hands and knees. He begged for 10 minutes of her time. Just 10 minutes to explain but she was gone and it would take what felt like a lifetime before he saw her again. 10 minutes to fall in love again. This is an AU story inspired in the original dizi of Erkenci Kus. I had some ideas to many open points that where left without a reply. I missed a different approach to some of the characters like Yiyit or Huma or even Ayhan and why not Derem and Cey Cey. In my thoughts they deserved another end at no way these characters had a fair exit in the story. However to make things more interesting and amusing I have just come to the idea that Mr. Wrong should be around and we shall see what happens with all of them. So some characters and things and could be slightly different from orginal serie. I beguin after Can leaves with Polen to the Balkans and Sanem remains in agency and is working at her book already with Yiyit. Another note, the famliy Divit has 2 sons Can and Emre and a daughter called Lale. This is my first story and Im not experienced in writting. I haven't got the rights of the characters from the original story.

So this story starts at a party where all the cast and crew of #ErkenciKuş were invited. Can and Demet both started feeling things for each other but neither of them didn't even admit it to themselves.. but, what happens when at that party Demet drinks a little too muuch than expected.
