**SECOND BOOK IN THE Dear My Sanity SERIES** "That explains a lot." "I bet it does." The mask prevents me from seeing her face but I can just tell she is smiling at me; at my misery. It makes me want to tear her apart limb from limb. But, I restrain myself. It would do me no good to waste energy with her. I got the information I wanted and now I have to go. My mom needs me. "Is that all?" I growl, smacking her hand away. "Yes, it is." "Good," And then I punch her in the face. ~*~*~

“Laughing Jack. A clown who lost his colours. Happy-go-lucky gone wrong. Now a deranged serial killer. And has a grudge against the world. He-” “I thought this was supposed to be about something real, not some creepy fantasy of yours!” They won’t be laughing for much longer, I'm sure of it. There is only one person in the world that ever gets the last laugh. And his name is Laughing Jack. The name ‘Laughing Jack’ is one known by many, though only believed in by some. You see, his existence is unknown, or so it seems. There have been cases in which people are said to have been in the presence of – or have even talked to – the infamous Laughing Jack. Though, they are often rarely believed in or are just brushed off as the person being insane. Those that do completely believe in him are hard to come by. Other people disagree entirely about him, while few others don’t really care either way. One boy that does believe in Jack is not particularly favoured by his peers and is instead ridiculed because of his belief. He knows the truth though, and no matter what the cost, he will make sure all truth is revealed about the myth surrounding the much debated Laughing Jack.

*FIRST BOOK IN THE Dear My Sanity SERIES* "Look at your hands. Their blood is on your hands." Jamie stares at her blood covered hands. She clenches her jaw, a muffled scream coming from her. I let her scream but I look around, knowing the police would come soon. If she wants to avoid being caught, she needs to get over her little crisis already. "Get up," I say quickly, going over and grabbing onto her arm to pull her up. "Come on, the police will be coming soon. You're not going to jail." She struggles against me, screaming, "No! You're going to kill me if I go with you." "This all can be erased," I insisted. The wailing of sirens tells me I need to convince her quickly. Jamie pauses, thinking hard. "Fine," she says. "Let's go then." I say no more as I run. She picks up my pace and follows me as I lead her away from her first murders and into her new life. I think it's one she'll fit well into.
