Charlotte Spindel, known as Lottie by her friends...or...she would be...if she had any friends, had moved to Japan with her family halfway through the year in her first year of middle school. She had a hard time making friends as she struggled to learn the language. The other kids found her odd and more than a little bit creepy. Sometimes they saw her speaking seemingly to herself in her foreign language. One girl saw her pick up a spider and let it crawl around on her hand, since that day everyone wrote her off and wanted nothing to do with her. He always pushed her to follow her dreams and even supported her dropping out of high school at seventeen to start her own business, Enchanting Treats. Sora and high school, well school in general, had never gotten along. People always teased her; she was always labeled as the weird girl who talked to herself. Of course, she didn't talk to herself, it was just part of her quirk, no one else could see the pesky pixie-like creatures that followed her around everywhere she went trying to wreak havoc and chaos. They were adorable little pranksters and constantly getting her into trouble as they'd make funny faces and gestures at teachers and classmates and she couldn't help but indulge them. Everyone thought her odd because she saw things, magical things, that no one else could.

"You really think they'd let someone like you two in, when they could have me?" Katsuki clenched his fists. I saw the slightest shift in his distribution of weight on his feet. He was going to lunge at me. "Ah! Wait!" Midoriya panicked on the floor behind me and began to scoot away. "You've got it all wrong! Really! We're not trying to compete against you! You've gotta believe me!" Katsuki made his move. My body moved fluidly, intercepting his swing, grabbing him by his forearm, directing his palm where his explosive power came from away from us and stepped into him. Before he realized what had happened, I hurled him over my shoulder, keeping a firm grip on his forearm and brought my foot down to step on his other arm keeping both of his palms directed away from Midoriya and I. "What good did having a flashy quirk do you in that situation?" I asked him calmly as the rest of the class stared in shock and awe with their mouths agape.

A young deputy exited the third car and raced toward us. He was white as a sheet and looked very distraught at whatever news he had to share. "Present Mic!" Hizashi turned, "what up, listener?" He replied obnoxiously as the officers of the other vehicles began apprehending the criminals and reading them their rights. The young deputy faltered a moment and bowed his head before continuing softly, "there was a fire..." A cold chill ran down my spine. "Nee-san! Nee-san!" Katsuki's soft childish voice sounded from my bedroom doorway as I was sitting at my desk trying to plot out my busy academic schedule. I was the captain of the music club, the swim team, Vice President of the student council and was involved in many other extra curriculars. Closing my planner, I turned to the doorway with a smile to find my four-year-old brother, Katsuki, standing in the doorway with a big grin plastered on his face. "What is it, Kacchan?" I gave him my undivided attention, no matter how busy I was with my studies or extra curriculars I always tried to make time for him. "Look what I can do!" He held his hands out palms facing upward and concentrated. Sweat beaded into the palm of his hand and turned into tiny explosions in his palms. "That's amazing Kacchan!" I scooped him up into my arms and spun him around the room causing him to giggle. "You're going to be the best hero, one day." I ruffled his dusty blonde hair as I set him on his feet. "I can start now." He grinned. "Oh yeah?" I smiled. "Mhm, I'll start by keeping Nee-san safe." He beamed. I leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek, "With you as my protector, I'll always be safe."

Despite my best efforts to not care or overthink things, I was still feeling nervous for my first day of high school. I wasn't sure what to expect from the coursework, it was sure to be tough.
