Eggman is growing stronger than ever thanks to his new invention the Phantom Ruby. When Eggman manages to catch the hero of Mobius Sonic the Hedgehog people begin to lose hope. But Sonic is not alone in his prison on the Death Egg. He soon learns that another member of the resistance is there being tortured by Infinite in hopes that she will reveal the location of the resistance base. However Sonic and the other fighter, Luna, are able to escape much quicker than Eggman expected. Luna finally feels safe again, but something still bothers her why was Infinite so interested in her. She chooses to ignore this and does everything in her power to help the resistance win this war. But even after Eggman is defeated, Luna finds herself once again face to masked face with Infinite. However, she soon discovers something very surprising about his Phantom Ruby. Something that could change the fate of their world forever.
