Satchmo Turner is a failed private detective from the rusting heart of the Black Country who is reeling from the loss of his sister and fiancee. He's going nowhere at work, and treading water in life, until he picks up a simple missing person case and stumbles into something much bigger. Satchmo soon finds himself in over his head and embroiled a hunt for ancient treasure, unrequited love, violence and murder in a quiet English village stocked with a cast of characters he could never have imagined. Praise for Quid Pro Quo from Wattpadders: "Damn you for writing such a good book. I'm dead serious when I say you should look to get it published." "Overall, I think it's a great book and something I'd expect to see on a shelf in a bookstore somewhere." "I read another chapter and devoured the whole damn thing over an afternoon." "All-in-all the book was thoroughly enjoyable and very professionally written. Definitely better than almost everything else that I have encountered on Wattpad... it was a compelling read." "Your style of storytelling is lovely to read. I'm trying desperately to convince my husband to sign up to Wattpad so he can read it too."

Read Epic LitRPG Saga from one of the best author - father of the genre in the World! Barliona. A virtual world jam-packed with monsters, battles - and predictably, players. Millions of them come to Barliona, looking forward to the things they can't get in real life: elves and magic, dragons and princesses, and unforgettable combat. The game has become so popular that players now choose to spend months online without returning home. In Barliona, anything goes: you can assault fellow players, level up, become a mythical hero, a wizard or a legendary thief. The only rule that attempted to regulate the game demanded that no player was allowed to feel actual pain. But there's an exception to every rule. For a certain bunch of players, Barliona has become their personal hell. They are criminals sent to Barliona to serve their time. They aren't in it for the dragons' gold or the abundant loot. All they want is to survive the virtual inferno. They face the ultimate survival quest. The Time Machine is a science fiction novella by H. G. Wells, published in 1895 and written as a frame narrative. The work is generally credited with the popularization of the concept of time travel by using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposely and selectively forwards or backwards in time. The Time Traveller had finally finished work on his time machine, and it rocketed him into the future. When the machine stops, in the year 802,701 AD, he finds himself in a paradisiacal world of small humanoid creatures called Eloi. ... Meanwhile, he saves one of the Eloi from drowning, and she befriends him.

Ever since he was a hatchling, Ryu has always been alone; that's how dragons were. All he had were the memories given to him by his mother in order to even survive the first few moments of hatching. And out of those memories there is always one that sticks out as a harsh warning to not only him but all his kind. One filled with death, the screams of the innocent, and the lost. With it all leading to the only other species to walk the earth - humans. Giving his kind an excuse to stay away from them and each other in fear of their enemies finding them more easily. Yet Ryu has a different future in mind for himself. He knows there must be a way to either bring dragons back on top or peace between the two, and he has a plan he knows will result in one of the two. Hopefully it being the latter. What he doesn't know is the journey it will take him on, the loss he will experience, yet the forbidden love and friendship he will gain, and the impact it will make on those around him. Because you never know what could happen in a world of dragons...
