"I like you," I confessed to him.
I took in a sharp breath and continued," like, like you, like you."
He took a step back, face blank, and just stared at me. Gosh, I felt stupid. I was hurt. It felt like I had a blade in my chest. I had not expected him to react like that. Probably because I thought he felt the same way. So instead of showing him how hurt I was I simply smiled at him.
"I'm just joking," I chuckled," gosh you should have seen your face." For a split second, I saw his eyes flicker to my lips then back to my eyes.
"What if I'm down?"

Meet Alicia Jacobs, an eighteen-year-old girl who most people label as the good girl gone bad and to some, she's the bad tomboy. Alicia is that one girl who will choose food, and reading a book over going to a party; the one who will wear sweats for any occasion just for one reason-they are comfortable. She's your typical introvert, one who sucks at first impressions. Very good at hiding her emotions and most importantly she keeps to herself.Probably the reason why she doesn't have any friends. She wants nothing but to start over a new leaf even if it means moving to another town. And what better way to start over a new life with her Aunt in a place where nobody knows her?
Meet Ethan Carson. He's your typical nineteen-year-old. The most popular boy in high school. He's the star basketball player at Greenfield High School. Ethan also happens to be the boy next door, right next to Alicia's new home and he will stop at nothing until Alicia accepts him as his friend. Or even more!
These two are opposites. One is a little introverted and likes to keep to herself while the other is more outgoing and loves attention. But you know what they say, opposites attract. Could she or he have found the one, the one to spend a lifetime with?
