King Alfred, begs the Elders to find him a another way - they claim that the only way for him to maintain the throne - is to marry a suitor. After giving him multiple selections, the Elder's explain that according to the law, Alfred cannot marry a Queen, unless they fall in love with him. Alfred dotes on various selections, none seeming to be suitable enough according to his expectations. But there is one, that stands out from the rest. The only one, of course, that Alfred realizes, doesn't want to become Queen. That leading to the King Of Diamonds, Francis, visiting their house and growing deeply infatuated with Arthur. In the Spade Kingdom, the King Of Spades, Alfred, go out on another journey trying to find his queen, the one marked with the mark of the royal family. His journey starts in his own kingdom and goes from there. Arthur Kirkland, the one who bears the royal mark of the Queen Of Spades, only one other person besides himself knows that it's there, and plans to keep that fact hidden from the King Of Diamonds.
