Just thought of doing something like this after watching this weeks episode of Shameless.

Two smart mouths cross paths and Mickey finally finds a soft side for someone

This is just a different ending to the part in season 5 when Ian gets arrested!

Spoilers so if you haven't seen 5x4 then I don't advise you to read. 5x5 isn't out yet but I saw the preview and got a little idea. Warning are on the first page. *under edit before I continue any further with this story*

Ian last saw Mickey behind plate glass in prison, where he shattered his heart and walked out on him. Three months have passed and Ian still regrets it all. After months of rethinking and talking himself into it, he's set on a decision. Not knowing how Mickey will feel, he takes a chance, gets in his car and drives down to the prison to let him know that he's still in love with him. Here we go. •Note: This story was my first attempt at fanfiction. I hope it gets under your skin. (See what I did there? Haha.)
