It had been 2 Years prior to what happened with Spinel. Things on earth had been peaceful, Yet alot had changed alot overall. Population lowered, businesses closed, ect. Steven is now 18 years old and still lives with the gems, they are like family to him. Steven and Spinel had also became really close friends. Close enough so that a certain pink gem started crush on Steven. (Also this is an alternate universe where gems can have children and live where rose died while giving birth to Steven and he survived and they gave him her gem)

Spinel will be more soft and sweet in this story, due to her change of heart. She will also have bad separation anxiety, but she'll try not to be clingy. However if the story calls for it (or if you request it) she will show her angry side. After the events with Spinel and her injector, you found yourself thinking about the gem more and more, in the following weeks. So when you finally asked Steven to take you to Homeworld, you were more than happy when he agreed. You wanted to know more about her. You wanted to be her friend. Even if she had tried to destroy your planet, you still wanted to be friends. In the short time you knew Spinel she always managed to make you smile (when she wasn't being evil).

They end up becoming official, but Connie isn't too joyous about their upbringing. She runs off and temporarily gives Steven the silent treatment. Besides dates, cuddles, and emotional conversations, Steven and Spinel have a whole new problem awaiting them when they get a message from a gem saying that White Diamond is wreaking havoc on Homeworld. Unbeknownst to them, they will be facing a threat greater than the Diamonds themselves.
