Evie Autumn, like almost every other nineteen year old was just your average, unassuming, everyday girl. She attended university, she had that one quirk that everyone thinks is weird (an obsession with Greek mythology, in case you were wondering) and she had to stop herself from repeatedly smacking her best friend daily for his naycare, partying ways. Basically, her life couldn't be anymore normal if she tried. But then her normal world is shattered when that same best friend is killed right before her very eyes, and a mysterious stranger approaches her and introduces himself as Hades, God of the Underworld. Hades offers Evie a deal; he'll let her best friend live if she agrees to return with him to the Underworld as his very own modern-day Persephone. Suddenly Evie's thrust into a world where gods are real and life after death is all too possible; and to top it all off, she makes a deal to live with the devil for six months in exchange for her best friend's life. Life couldn't get any less normal, right? HADES SERIES #1 [Ranked #28 in Teen Fiction on 20.05.16] [Hit 1 million on 18.10.17]

They say gut feelings are your guardian angels, Ella Thomas will soon find out that hers was leading her to something she could never imagine existed. Hades has watched over Ella since the day she was born, he was her guardian angel from the depths of the underworld. For centuries he's waited, waited for someone to love. He vowed to himself to protect Ella and only watch from afar. She was so innocent and so human, he couldn't take that away from her. For 20 years he kept his promise, for 20 long and grueling years he watched from afar, until something happens, something that Hades can't ignore. He makes a hasty decision and leaves the underworld, heading to Earth where he knows she will be. But there's a catch, the very person, or should I say God, that Hades despises the most will stop at nothing to destroy his happiness, even if it means killing someone so harmless and oh so very fragile. ....... "How do I look?" He muttered, stepping out of the bathroom. The room seemed increasingly smaller with his large stature in it. I nearly gasped, why did he have to look so good in those grey sweats? I swallowed, trying to act unaffected by his beauty, "Convincingly human." ....... 1st in Love - 13 June 2021 4th in Romance - 13 June 2021 1st in Gods - 13 June 2021 1st in Dark - 30 September 2021 4th in Darkness - 30 May 2022

We all know the myth of how Hades saw Persephone and just had to have her as his wife. In the myth, there is an abduction and other negative things that paint Hades in a horrible way. But, what if the truth of that myth was something beautiful and filled with love and longing and destiny? What if Demeter, Persephone's mother who was heartbroken at her daughter leaving her and enraged by the fact that she would be in the Underworld, spread lies about their story? This tale sheds new light on what happened between Persephone and Hades, and it shows that there can be light in the darkest of places, and darkness in the sunlight.

Persephone has already been kidnapped by Hades, her unwanted and unexpected suitor. Demeter has already cast a famine on all the humans in her grief. Hades struggles to win Persephone over...but perhaps Persephone has always been meant to be with him, and she wasn't an innocent as she was thought she was... Moderate explicit parts. *not finished* "Look, Persephone, you're a reasonable Goddess, more reasonable than most. You have to understand I was not born the Lord of the Underworld. The title was appointed to me because I was the unlucky one. My job is just as important as my brother's jobs. I wasn't selected because of my cruel ways but now because of the way people speak of me and fear me now I am the cruel one whether or not I like it. Do you honesty think it is fair that it should work that way? People take one look at me and assume I'm the devil." Persephone crouches back in her seat. I realize I am standing and seat myself, trying to calm myself. "Do you honestly think that being in charge of the dead and judging them makes me undeserving of love, of a wife? I'm doomed to be exiled down here. I don't even have the sun to keep me warm, Persephone. You're all the sun I have..." *This story is also not meant to be factually accurate, and is simply an interpretation of the story.
