In the near future, a weary Logan and a exhausted (y/n) care for an ailing Professor X at a remote outpost on the Mexican border. Their plan to hide from the outside world gets upended when they meet a young mutant who is very much like Logan. Logan and (y/n) must now protect the girl and battle the dark forces that want to capture her.

Y/N is on the run from the cops. She happens to stumble into the apartment of the Wolverine, some banter ensues and, eventually, Logan tells Y/N she can stay.

So who wouldn't jump at the chance of being with your own kind, saving the world and maybe even catch a date with a hot German? Eleanor had always been surrounded by weird things. Her friends were like her, her parents were like her; she felt accepted. But that soon was gone. "Professor there are two kids fighting at the pool." Rogue , one of my students, said softly. "Thank you for telling me." I said with a smile. "What is going on?" I asked as I made it to the pool and saw Bobby and John fighting. "He started it." John growled out. "Well I'm finishing it, class now or I will send you to the Professor's office." I ordered. "Yes Professor." Bobby said as he walked away. I smiled as I shook my head and walked to my class. "Mom!" A voice yelled. I smiled as I turned to see my five year old daughter run up to me. "Hello Sweetheart, what are you up to?" I asked as I picked her up. "Running from papa." She said with a giggle. I smiled as I saw my husband of twenty years walking towards us.
