Shinichi brought down the Black Organization few months back. It's been 2 years how long he had been as a kid by name 'Edogawa Conan'. He lived like every normal person but running into certain homicide cases. After he found out that he got invited to help the police to catch the Phantom Thief, Kaitou Kid, he will be attending those heists for quite a while. Kuroba Kaito and Kudo Shinichi finally revealed their secrets out after the fall of the Black Organization. What happens next is all up to them and Fate.

His Gem "Well, Kuroba-kun, I think I'll help you with your task, I have got my hands on some tasteful information, that surely will turn the whole game upside down." When Kaito accepted Akako's help, he didn't know that the thing that would turn the whole game upside down would actually flip his own life as well. He didn't deny how helpful the information was, especially since the crows don't know anything about it, probably will never even guess it, but well, he kinda didn't believe it at first. But, He was really surprised when he heard that well, the Panadora could be a human, and that human is that smart detective that enjoys chasing after him. But, his task is obvious and clear. There won't be any turning backs, and that task involves getting ride of the panadora. He promised that he wouldn't let himself get attached to the fellow, but since he doesn't like killing people, he thought he would give Akako sometime to find a way to destroy the gem -at this point, one's life is less important than the world's, right? But, he would try to gain the other's trust as well, but the rules were clear as the day's sun, no getting attached, and he doubted he would ever will anyways. ....

An 'accident' that will change everything. To make this clear, I don't know where I'm going with this but I'll make it work. A fanfic where Kaito also gets a second chance.
