Catra has been working as a lifeguard on Etheria Beach for no longer than a month... but she already has an arch-enemy. A blonde surfer has been catching waves every day for the past week, despite warnings and whistle-blows from other guards. Catra is determined to catch the culprit and ban her from the beach for good, but the experienced wave-rider outsmarts her at every turn, with help from her preppy friends, no less. Catra is what many people would call broken. Emotionally. She has one of the most darkest back stories you might have ever heard, which is why she is shaped the way she is today. 17 years old and a senior, Catra goes to Brightmoon High School, and is the most dangerous and feared person within the building, and she sure is hell is not afraid to show why she has that title for herself. Adora is a newly transferred to Brightmoon High and quickly bonds with Glimmer and Bow. She's also 17, a senior, and a dorky jock. Still not used to how the school functions, she becomes intrigued by none other than Catra herself and tries to become her friend despite everyone's warnings. But the blonde teen can't help but want to get closer... but one thing catches her attention the most about what everyone mainly warns her about. I kept looking down at the ground, not because I wanted to hide the fact that there were tears already beginning to form in my heterochromia, but because Adora's voice had cracked and was shaking when she asked me the question I never wanted anyone asking me.
