"Linda, why aren't you coming out", I heard Steve ask behind me. I didn't turn to look at him. I kept staring at the mirror, looking at the lady I had become. I looked different dressed in a wedding gown with the light makeup on my face and the new hairstyle Grace had made me do. "I'm just scared Steve. Is this really the right thing to do?", I could barely hear my voice as I asked that question. "Linda, you know, even better than I do that this marriage is not anything close to a mistake." I could see from the mirror as he came closer to me. He hugged me from the back and planted a kiss on my cheek. "How about we do a bit of reminiscing? Talk about it from the beginning and give you the assurance you're doing the right thing.", He said. His voice sounding so innocent and intriguing I could feel the butterflies it threw into my stomach. Giggling, I asked, "Do we have enough time for that?"
