Jet is no longer Jet. With the death of Steve fresh in her mind, she tries desperately to piece her life back together, but, there's a few problems. Her parents are still trying to keep the secret of her adoption from her, every member of S.H.I.E.L.D. seems to hate her, oh and the fact that she has become a professional when it comes to pushing people away. A past ex of her's, Ian Walker, comes to help her remember who she is. Will Ian succeed? Or will her attitude and emotions push him away? Will Jet drag him into her crazy life and force him on an adventure that he will never forget? Will her true past and parents finally become one with the immediate now? And what about Steve? America, where could you be?

Everyone says that there is no destination on this road of your life. Well I am here to tell you that those people are idiots. There is a destination. Everyone fears it no matter how brave they seem to be. This destination, is death. I would introduce myself, but I can't, I don't know my name. They call me the Iron Soldier, but I know that I must have a real name given to me by my parents. Or I at least hope I do. The thing is, I can't remember who they are, who I was, who I am. I don't remember where I came from or who any of these people are. To be completely honest I only know two things for sure; 1. I do whatever Hydra asks me to do, no objections. And 2. The Avengers are my next target.

"Is she gone?" I ask. My voice that is usually strong and authoritative, shaking and weak. "No." "Then what the hell is wrong?!" "She's in a coma Steve." "Oh really? I never would have guessed that. "She may never be the same." "What do you mean?" "When she wakes up, there is no telling how much brain damage she could have." Jet gave her life so S.H.I.E.L.D. and the people who meant the most to her could live on. Or so you though. Jet lays in a hospital bed, her body desperately trying to repair itself. But when she finally wakes up, she will suprise everyone. But then again, that's just the Stark way right?

I stand in the pile of rubble. His hand runs across my back. "I don't understand." I say while looking out over the ocean. My black hair blows across my face in simple strands quickly becoming annoying. I tuck it behind my ear allowing my brown eyes to come back into focus. "I'll say it again," my father says, his voice gruff. "I am Iron Man." Jet was your normal teenager. Well, except for the fact that she excels at mathematics and science. Oh and her father and mother run Stark Industries. What she didn't know was they are actually a part of something bigger than she could have ever imagined; the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division or just S.H.I.E.L.D. for short. Her life gets thrown for a tailspin when her father asks her to step up to the plate and become Iron Man. But will she be up to the challenge? Or will her perfect life crumble beneath her?
