Namun operasi gagal total hanya 20 kapal yang berhasil kembali, juga armada komandan gugur ikut dalam pertempuran. Semenjak itu lautan menjadi zona hitam untuk pelayaran dan status siaga tinggi ditetapkan di seluruh dunia. Disaat keputus asaan mulai melanda dunia, ada secerca harapan muncul.
