Sammie (Samantha) Cutter's life has never been easy. She's been driven into a depressed state thanks to the death of her parents. She'll do anything to get them back, even leaving the house for the first time in three years. Her mother ran away twelve years ago, presumed dead, leaving her father, a professor teaching evolutionary zoology (despite hating it) at the Central Metropolitan University to raise Samantha. But then, in 2008. Sammie's godfather, Stephen Hart, died. 2009, her father died. In that same year, the last person who could've raised her died, her deceased father's constable friend Danny Quinn. It's 2012, and now she has to deal with a new threat, but a threat that will reveal the truth and answer the one question she asks herself morning and every night. 'What happened to my family?' There will be highs and there will be lows, life's a rollercoaster.
