Izumina Kimino, Katsuki Bakugou, and Izuku Midoriya were the best of friends when they were young. Izumina was the only one strong enough to stand in between Katsuki and Izuku during a fight, and the only person who truly believed in Izuku's dream of becoming a hero. Growing up across the street from Izuku made life easier for her, and they came to think of each other as siblings. Now, even though Izumina was the kindest person Katsuki and Izuku had ever met, she had a dark past that neither one of the two boys fully knew of. Her dream is to become a hero, and this story tells of how she follows that dream into a world of superhumans, villains, and complicated people. Deku joins in on class 1A's adventure to the mall, when he suddenly encounters what could easily be his greatest enemy, Tomura Shigaraki. After managing to evade the wandering eyes of the highschooler's friends, Shigaraki leaves, wondering why this future hero in-the-making seems to have such an effect on himself.
